London and Surrey based Debbi Clarke provides an extensive range of musical services ranging from Musical Direction to behind the scenes preparation and training.

Musical Direction

As a Musical Director, Debbi has a proven track record with local professional and amateur groups. She has been critically acclaimed for her work on shows of varying styles and genres. Debbi is a very experienced conductor and an excellent pianist and sight reader. She works hard to build a comfortable but professional working environment with everybody involved in the show production, including the creative teams, cast, and musicians.

Orchestrating and Arranging

Debbi is an experienced orchestrator and vocal arranger. She often adapts arrangements for shows as Musical Director to suit the band or cast. Sample orchestrations can be made available on request.

Mainstage Programming

Debbi has been programming keys parts for shows since 2013. Shows have included Beauty & The Beast, Sister Act, Little Shop of Horrors, A Christmas Carol, Sunset Boulevard and many others. Please contact her for more information.

Accompanying

Available for singers, instrumentalists, ensembles and choirs for all grades of exams in ABRSM, Trinity and LCM, recitals, auditions, performances and rehearsals, in any genre.

Backing Tracks

Debbi can create high quality backing tracks or note-bash tracks for any occasion. Please contact her for more information and rates.

Vocal Coaching

An experienced vocal coach, particularly in working on Acting Through Song and audition techniques. She is available for Zoom or in-person sessions throughout England and Wales. Please contact her for more information and rates.

Children’s Theatre

She has a particular skill in bringing out the best in children and young people and regularly works with the Attitude Theatre Academy.
